JOHN LIGHTFOOT CA(SA)
After a chequered career at the University of Cape Town, John joined Deloitte and Touché in Cape Town in 1993 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). Over the next three years he garnered a wealth of experience across a number of fields of commerce. He relocated to London in 1996 and worked at a couple of international financial institutions across a range of fields which included business analysis, systems implementation, project management, financial and management accounting, and risk & compliance management. He returned to South Africa in November 2002 and established Quotient (South Africa). As managing director of Quotient (South Africa) he has been extensively involved with the amnesty application process, private wealth management and merger and integration consulting, as well as the financial processing and management function, which constitutes Quotient's core business.
